Contec’s ReFIBE cloths are made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, making them a sustainable single-use option for manufacturers in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, medical devices and semiconductor sectors. The revolutionary recycling process converts plastic into 100% continuous filament polyester, the same substrate used in many of Contec’s standard polyester cloths and mops. Each carton recycles 840 bottles. Processed as synthetic polyester in an interlock knit, ReFIBE wipes are exceptionally clean and compatible with a wide range of cleanroom solutions and disinfectants.
Like Contec’s standard polyester wipes, ReFIBE is washed and packaged in an ISO 4 cleanroom. ReFIBE wipes contain very few releasable particles and fibres and can be used in place of conventional polyester to ensure sustainability without compromising on quality or performance.
