Bluesorb ® 750 is a non-woven cloth made from cellulose / polyester, recommended for ISO Class 5 environments and above, consisting of a water-stabilised non-woven blend of 55% cellulose and 45% polyester, dyed blue. This combination of properties gives BlueSorb ® 750 the level of cleanliness, absorbency, abrasion resistance and chemical compatibility required for general mopping and spill control applications. The cleanroom wipe Vipers P140L is a double woven polyester wipe with high abrasion resistance. All edges are laser welded to minimise particle and fibre shedding. The FG Compo Wipe 7408 is a multi-layer cleanroom wipe. This multi-layer composite, made up of various components, consists of three layers – polypropylene and cellulose. These have been thermally bonded, resulting in a synergy between the two materials. The outer polypropylene layer transfers moisture to the inner cellulose core. This absorbs the liquid extremely well and stores it. The polypropylene thus retains a ‘dry’ surface, whilst the inner cellulose core retains a large proportion of the liquid. The Comp Wipe 7408 is abrasion-resistant, durable and soft. Thanks to the sandwich construction, it is highly effective when used with acids in cleanrooms.
