Cleaning Swabs/PU-Swab PU3924 ESD with single pointed head. The antistatic cleanroom swab is made of compressed, open-cell 100 ppi (Z) polyurethane foam that is free of organic contaminants. The foam is thermally bonded to the handle, avoiding the use of contaminating adhesives or coatings.
The foam, which is washed and packaged in an ISO Class 5 cleanroom, has a low particle and ionic content. It has excellent compatibility with most common solvents, including acetone, as well as excellent absorbency and solvent absorption capacity, and the foam head is compressed and has good strength. The FG Compo Wipe 7408 is a cleanroom wipe made of multiple layers. This multilayer composite of different components is built up in three layers - polypropylene and cellulose. These have been thermally bonded. This results in a synergy of both materials. The outer polypropylene layer transfers the moisture to the inner cellulose core. This absorbs the liquid excellently and stores it. The polypropylene thus retains a "dry" surface, while the inner cellulose core retains most of the liquid.
The Comp Wipe 7408 is abrasion resistant, durable and soft. The sandwich process makes it very effective for use with acids in the cleanroom.

Contec's "ReFIBE wipes" are made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, making them a sustainable disposable option for critical manufacturers in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, medical device and semiconductor industries. The revolutionary recycling process converts plastic into 100% continuous filament polyester, the same substrate used in many of Contec's standard polyester wipes and mops. 840 bottles are recycled per Karton. Processed as synthetic polyester in an interlock knit, ReFIBE wipes are exceptionally clean and compatible with a wide range of cleanroom solutions and disinfectants. Like Contec's standard polyester wipes, ReFIBE is washed and packaged in an ISO 4 cleanroom. ReFIBE wipes contain few releasable particles and fibres and can be used in place of traditional polyester to ensure sustainability without compromising quality or performance.
